Studio brief 2:developed ideas OUGD403

I then went on to select 5 versions of the fonts from both Bodoni and Helvetica. I tried to apply the same effects to other letterforms to give me a better perspective on which fonts look better as a group not a single letter form. I felt the designs which used thin and semi serifs worked best, and even the combination of a sans serif on one side and serif on the other side of the stroke works well to create a smart and clean cut letterform. Throughout designing both fonts I found I swayed toward the bold versions as I felt they were more confident.
