OUGD404: book binding workshop & binding colour book

I attended a book binding workshop. This gave me a greater knowledge of the types of booklet I could create. I created a saddle stitch which is a simple stitch, easy to do with a minimalistic effect. The Japanese stitch creates running lines and more decorative way of intwining stitch into the design. The concertina allows the book to be stretched out instead of open like a normal book. Although this effect works well I don't think it would fit my colour booklet style.I felt the saddle stitch was most appropriate. Creating a clean book in which the stitch doesn’t alter the design and aesthetic of the booklet much.
