Our task with this brief
was to produce a graphic response/ graphic product /piece of work that makes a
statement, comment, observation or gives advice about your experience on your
first year of this course. Work with any appropriate media or format and
develop and identify the content will be entertaining, advisory or informative.
Working in a group of
four we wanted to experiment with a medium that we haven’t used much of this
year. We felt creating a short, informative film would be challenging as well
as fun and easy for the new first years to take in.
We wanted to show a realistic whilst funny representation of a day
in college. Giving them an idea of what to expect and how to deal with it. We
thought choosing deadline day would be appropriate. We aim to show this through
using two characters to show the perfect and a disaster version of what a hand
in can be like. The scenes focus on sleep, printing, blogging and the actual
handing-in, as these are the main focal points that we’ve found from experience
can go either way depending on one’s organisation.
