Breaking the grid:
David Carson is a
famous graphic designer well known for his work breaking grids. His typographic
treatments are random, they grab the audience and push the boundaries of
graphic design. Other designers completely disagree with his approach but his wacky
designers I feel push the barriers of graphic design, in particular how type
can be used in such innovative ways. He is an American graphic designer and art
director. He made his name on a international level when working for a magazine
called ray gun in which he showed of his crazy typographic treatments and
working with layout.
